No, at ARTIG METALL® we do not use Corten steel. Instead, we offer powder-coated aluminum or stainless steel with a rust look. This material combines the aesthetic effect of Corten steel with the advantages of a weather-resistant, easy-care surface.

ARTIG METALL® manufactures products made of anodized aluminum that are not welded. This includes:

Wall shelves:

Anodized aluminum is preferred for screwed or riveted constructions, as the material retains its high-quality surface and is not affected by weld seams. Ideal for sophisticated design solutions!

At ARTIG METALL® we only use high-quality, weather-resistant powder coatings that have been specially developed for outdoor use.

Advantages of our powder coating:

UV resistance: The colors remain brilliant for years, even under intense sunlight.

Weather resistance: Protects against corrosion, rain and other environmental influences.

Powder-coated goods should not be stored outdoors, especially if they are packaged with a protective plastic film. Stacking or storing panels close together outdoors should also be avoided.
Reason: condensation.
Temperature fluctuations can cause moisture to collect under the protective film or between the panels. This moisture can cause stains on the powder coating.

Recommendation:
Always store powder-coated goods in a dry, well-ventilated interior, with sufficient space between panels to avoid condensation and keep the coating intact.

If condensation has caused stains on the powder-coated surface, there is a solution:

Use an industrial hair dryer to gently heat the affected areas.

The heat causes the moisture to evaporate and the stains usually disappear.

Important:

Keep enough distance between the hair dryer and the surface to avoid damaging the coating.

First test the method on an inconspicuous area.
